We conduct research for the Sunday Telegraph
Another great compliment was paid to us. And this time it was the Sunday Telegraph when they asked us to help them in their research for an upcoming article on what reasons people gave for making a Will and whether the threat of the second Gulf war had prompted more people to make a Will.
Dear Mr Crossland,
I am a journalist for the Sunday Telegraph and I am trying to find out whether the increasing number of people deciding to make a will throughout Britain has anything to do with the impending war with Iraq. I would love to find out from your clients what prompted them to make a will - whether the threat of war had a bearing on their decision to make a will at all - or not?

We, of course, were willing to assist and emailed 250 of our most recent clients. These are some of their comments:
"Yes, the impending war with Iraq was a factor, as I do travel on business however the arrival of our first child also had a bearing". A.M.
"Sorry. It was nothing to do with Iraq. My children's father died and I wanted to make sure they would be looked after if anything happened to me". V.W.
"I can confirm that my writing a Will has nothing to do with the threatened war with Iraq. It is something I have been trying to do for two years and your Internet access now allows me the time to complete the process without having to take time off work and make office visits". M.T.
